Extra capacity without moving plan. Useful for a month that is unusually heavy, when upgrading permanently would be the wrong shape.
How credit works
A top-up buys credit that is drawn on once your monthly allowance is used. It does not expire at the end of the period, so buying it is not a bet on using it this month.
Automatic top-ups
You can have Lineman top up on your behalf when the balance runs low, which stops a heavy week interrupting anyone. Set the trigger and the amount, and turn it off whenever you like.
Worth pairing with a budget alert. Automatic top-ups keep work flowing; the alert is what tells you it is happening.
Top up or upgrade
A top-up suits a one-off spike. If you are topping up every month, the higher plan is cheaper for the same capacity, and the roll-up will show you whether the extra demand is real or concentrated in one or two people.
