Where your invoices live, what card is charged, and how changing plan mid-period is handled.
Invoices
Every invoice is available to download from your billing settings. They carry your company details if you are on a business account, which is why converting before your first invoice saves a conversation with finance.
Where invoices go
You can send billing email somewhere other than your sign-in address, which is usually what you want: invoices to accounts payable, product email to you.
Changing plan
Plan changes are prorated to the day. Moving up bills the difference for the rest of the period and gives you the higher allowance immediately; moving down credits the unused part.
VAT
Business customers in the EU with a valid VAT number are invoiced under the reverse charge, so no VAT is added and you account for it yourself. Add your VAT number before your first invoice: it cannot be applied retrospectively to one already issued.
