Post the digest and alerts into a Zulip stream and topic.
Lineman posts your cost alerts into a Zulip stream using Zulip's Slack-compatible incoming webhook. It runs one way: alerts go out to Zulip, and nothing typed in Zulip changes anything in Lineman.
Zulip has no plain channels. Every message lives in a stream and, within that, a topic. You set both on the incoming webhook bot in Zulip, and Lineman posts there when a spend alert fires. A message can reach the right stream and still sit under a topic nobody has open, so check where the test message landed rather than trusting the confirmation.
Zulip is self-hosted as often as not, so Lineman does not restrict which host the webhook URL points at. An instance on your own domain behaves like a Zulip Cloud one. The URL must be https; a plain http URL is refused. It is stored encrypted, and deactivating the bot in Zulip invalidates it straight away.
Lineman posts into Zulip and reads nothing back. It does not mirror your dashboard into the stream, and there is no command you can type in Zulip to query it. Treat the webhook URL as a credential: anyone who holds it can post into that stream. The Test button posts a real message, not a simulated one, so warn a busy stream before you press it.
