Show each ClickUp task's AI cost on the task, keyed off the id already in your branch names.
Your ClickUp tasks each carry their own AI cost. Lineman reads the task id already sitting in the branch name, adds up what the AI work on that branch cost, and writes it on the task as a comment reading "AI spend on this task: $12.40". Nobody creates a custom field or picks a task from a list. The comment is edited in place as the total moves, and watchers are not notified. It only works where the branch name carries the task id, and only in the Spaces you switch on.
Anyone with access to the task sees the AI spend on its linked branch, in US dollars, without leaving ClickUp. There is no custom field to create, nothing to install in your repositories, and no manual linking step. The comment is refreshed on a scheduled run, so cost recorded a few minutes ago will not be on the task yet.
The figure covers everyone who worked on the linked branch, so two people on the same branch produce one combined number rather than one each. It is cumulative: everything spent on that branch so far, not the cost of the last session.
A freshly connected workspace has every Space switched off, and nothing is written to any task until you switch one on. Turn on the Spaces you want commented on and leave the rest alone.
